00no you're the only person who has supported Paul Hitch for his twisted ways and given yourself away with your foul mouth. So how much of what you've said about id cards is true and how much is a smokescreen to cover up the fact that hitchy is a total disgrace

Next junior meeting is Monday 5th June. Please come along and bring your evidence with you!! But don't try to deflect what Paul did on other people, especially as i accepted his resignation and sincere apology on the day, i accept he made a grave error as does Paul. Managers are responsible for filling in their own ID cards to the various leagues our teams play in. I do not need to sign them or even look at them. If there are any parents out there who witness a new player playing for their team or a manager playing a new player and believe he/she may not be signed on with the relevant league please inform the junior committee and we will deal with it accordingly.

Cheers Tim! crystal clear. A procedure to follow so please follow it. I'm wondering why the person posting as loomer or waynetta haven't brought this to our attention earlier seeing as they've known about it sometime and care so much about the kids. This seems to coincide with recent events and the junior execs request to the senior exec.

I have to say that Tim is one of the few people I have met at Ossett Town who calls things as he see's them.
To my knoweledge he isn't conspiring with anyone least of all Thomo who he has had many disagreements with during my time on the Exec Com.
That anyone should try and blacken Tims name without any evidence or being willing to attend the club and state their case or even post the allegations under their real name is just pathetic!
Like many others I am distrusting of this supposed ID Card forgery and ist timing as it is just too convenient in the wake of what Paul Hitch has done.
Lets see some evidence and then maybe it could be taken seriously. In the meantime the club needs to deal with Paul Hitch and his transgretion which is FACT and not fiction.
Not only has his actions brought shame on the Juniors and no end of bad publicity for the club but it must surely place serious doubts on the credibility of that handfull of of Members who wrestled for control of the club. Paul Hitch was part of that group and an integral part at that.
His honesty and judgement must surley be questioned.

I have never posted on this site before. Quite frankly i just shake my head at the scurrilous and mischievous nonsense that makes up the great part of this forum. However. The two latest subjects that occupy most postings leave such a bad taste in the mouth that i am motivated to have my "six penneth". Firstly. Paul Hitchs actions at the gala left me bewildered. I would sincerely hope they were out of character and ultimately he has done the only decent thing open to him. The whole junior section has been tarnished and the remainder have to be seen to act with honesty and integrity in future to dispel any shadow thrown over the club by the actions of one individual. I say "have to be seen to" because i know and work along side junior managers that do and will continue to do so. But we must be conscious of our profile and propriety given we have been thrown in to the spotlight and ended up as front page news. With regards to the allegations about id cards. I can only reiterate Phils appeal to any parent with concerns re this. Go through the proper channels. Bring it to the Junior management committees attention so that these allegations can be investigated. No good can come form spurious comments posted anonymously on this site. Where will they lead? As for Tims part. The allegations can only come from someone without knowledge of the administration of an age group within the junior section. Managers take responsibility for registering and providing id of players, age etc with their appropriate league secretaries. Not Tim! So how is it that Tim can forge/fake ids and registration? What a load of complete and utter b******s! Tim has unselfishly, loyally and honestly put in more time and effort for the sake of all our junior members and their enjoyment than anyone else at the club and i for one applaud him. The assumption i come to is that some halfwit, misinformed, spineless sap with ulterior motives posts anonymously on this site with only one aim and that is to sully and discredit someones good name. Which brings in to question the whole integrity and usefulness of this forum. Keep it real! If there are any concerns with any matters regarding the running of the junior section and it's teams, bring them to the committee and lets deal with them in a proper fashion!

just spoken with Chris Harrison who's filled me in regarding malicious activity on this forum. first and foremost i think it's hightime that this forum be either closed down or moderated more effectively- i don't know who the moderator is but a more stringent 'joining' policy should be administered and only allow members to post. That way any negative and nasty comments could be traced via email and server properties back to the responsible individual and would therefore reduce such pathetic slurs on the names of people to a minimum. With regard to myself posting on the dirty matter of fake id cards and registration i feel it only right that i should speak on my opinion of the matter for anyone bored enough to read it! It has been well documented that i consider myself to be a family friend of the hitch family and many moons ago began my working life as a humble paper boy for said family business and proceeded to work for them in various roles including babysitting for their children.......... before anyone with little intelligence reads this as me being bias i would also like to point out, as Phil Thompson would clarify, i've also done the same for his youngest child and have known the thompsons for many years under matters not associated with the football club in question. i hope this suggests that my impartiality is not in question. The issues regarding fake registration and ID cards is something that i have heard on the rumour mill though i also heard that "Wally Walshaw" was being tracked by Barcelona and Boca Juniors - beers mixed with rumours and misinformation is, unfortunately, one of those things in life though when personal vendettas are in place then i know longer find it something to merely sColoured Chap at as i light my cigerette and take another swig of John Smith's finest. As i say, whether these rumours are true or not - i would certainly like to say that i have NEVER heard anybody's name actually mentioned (they're the best rumours aren't they) with the matter and have no care on the matter until someone actually speaks up about it accordingly with the people at the club who can investigate. Whilst i am waffling on, i find the whole matter regarding Paul Hitch a very sorry one. He made a huge mistake, dropped an enormous proverbial bollock and has paid the price yet i find whoever it was who deemed it appropriate to inform the Yorkshire Evening Post of the matter to as equally as guilty as bad form and in my opinion did the club's reputation more harm than Paul Hitch actually did with the incident in the first place. I think politics are more at work here and whilst i am in no way defending Paul for his actions at the gala i can wholly guarantee that such malpractice and bad example of sportmanship goes on somewhere in the UK every weekend. Not to brush it under the carpet but Paul got it wrong, knew it and apologised and resigned- good job capital punishment isn't reinstated in this country or else i feel the gallows were waiting. Show me a man who hasn't made a mistake in life and i'll show you a liar. The matter is done and should be dealt with as so. Apparently i'm also under siege for my previous posts regarding junior football at the club regarding Tim Asbury. The chap seems a thoroughly decent bloke and has, undoubtedly, worked tirelessly for the good of the club- i just disagree with his principles regarding junior football. What's wrong with that? I disagree with my wife regarding the colour of our bathroom but it's not an issue that causes any unrest. I think that's me done, rant over. Any problems please see me in the club as part of the universally despised 'Sunday Night Club', of the sabbath evening where i will happily buy you a drink (lime cordial) and discuss anything that causes a problem as i do not wish to upset anyone yet my insistance on speaking my mind is either admired and disliked - i obviously don't care either way!! ps: Phil. Horatio Nelson- apologies if you backed it, i did- see me for Royal Ascot and i'll make amends (ask Chris H about our Cheltenham exploits, he thought he could retire after two races!!) Regards, Tats

" 008 " - show yourself sir. a pity you won't put your name to it son, i'm sure i was drinking with you on sunday night! same time next week? a psychology degree specialising in NVC (that's non verbal communication if you didn't know and not a shopping channel on satellite tv) means that whilst this may sound arrogant and big-headed... regardless of the persona i put across.. i really do miss very little of what goes on around me chow

OH NO! Ossett town has its very own Sigmund Freud! He specialises in Non Verbal Communication! He can write a 5000 word thesis on my sexual problems just by observing me while i'm picking my nose when i'm watching the football on the tv. what other secret lives do Ossett Town people have? Neville binns is really the majority shareholder in Zeneca? Martin Voakes was the evil mastermind behind the 9-11 attacks? Phil Thompson breeds Shetland Ponies? Next time you see young Tats, stick two fingers up at him, he's an expert in non verbal communication, so he'll know what that means ;D

As much as I like Paul Tats it's fair to say that I don't honestly believe he can speak with the impartiality he portrays, i'm sure he would admit he has a greater allegiance to the Hitch family than me and quite rightly too. If he chooses to publicly support Paul Hitch then I appluad him for doing so as he obviously feels it's the right thing to do. BUT it's nothing to do with me if Pauls indiscretion causes personal shame and embarrassment and tats feels the urge to demonstarte his loyalty.. fine.. but why try and demonstrate this position of neutrality. If being the oldest member at an amateur dramatic group constitutes babysitting then I've been babysitting on similar lines for around 30 kids for the last 10 years. I've spoken with Paul Tats quite amicably about this and I know he genuinely has no axe to grind with anyone apart from Joe Coral who constantly deprives him of his hard-earned cash!

To Loomer, parent and Waynetta, you are all now conspicuously quiet on this subject of "id cards"! Two questions a. are you heeding the request to go though "the proper channels"? There is a junior managers meeting on Monday at the club. Come on down and present your case. Rest assured if there is any substance to your allegation you will receive support there. b. do you really think it is in the best interest of the club or your children to post such unfounded allegations (if thats what they prove to be) and then take your child to play football elsewhere. If that is indeed what you are doing? What about your son/daughter? I would think like the majority of juniors they are in a team with friends by their chosing. Friends they go to school with, play in the street with etc. Is it really in their interest? Put up or shut up. Sort the issue like a reasonable and responsible person. We all have a shared interest in Ossett Town and if we are to draw a line under the matter and move forward you should act, not post on this website, in the interest of your child, other children, the junior managers, parents and not least of all Tim!
