Good to see Bruce alias Townman has recreated his above site. The same site he closed down calling all the executive a secret society, the one which he refused to let Ossett Town use when he threw his teddy out of the pram for about the 50th time. I'm glad he's had a rethink and is now assisting OTFC once again, a valuable member of the club who has carried out several thankless tasks on behalf of others.

lost on me that one Bruce but your signature needs a slight adjustment. "fern house the traditional home of Ossett Town Football and Social Club. What have we done for the community?

what have we done for the community? saved a bunch of second rate shop keepers from having to face up to some real competition from Tesco. ;D
Once the vote to stay at Ingfield has been rubber stamped on Wednesday night, then all the local shop keepers should be lining up to pour huge wads of cash into Graham Willis's briefcase as a thank you present to the club.

we still don't know who this lad is from Clitheroe? I got told he scored 18 goals for Clitheroe last season, but the goal scorers chart for Division 1 goes down to players who scored 17 goals, and there is no Clitheroe player on that list. obviously someone on the committee is feeding me duff information. As usual.

The lad from Clitheroe is Paul Stansfield he's not signed on yet but knotched a few goals last year from midfield. Tomorrows trip to Farsley gives the lads a chance to demonstrate some pre-season form and catch Kittys eye. Squad: John Hood, Neil Bennett, dave Briggs (doubtful), James Riordan,Kirk Wheeler, Andy Mc Manus,Matt Daly, Rob Tonks, Gary Butcher, Andy Cox, Dean Calcutt, james Coubrough, Rob O' Brien,Richard Marchant, Phil Lindley, Andy Hayward, James Walshaw, Ashley Scothern, Danny davidson, Carl Fothergill
What with the Chairmans announcement that we're having a reseves this season along with the academy the above names plus a few more should see us pushing for a top half spot and hopefully a bit better.

As I stated before I've been away for a while, has Brook Newton moved on?
If so where?

That appears to be a step down for him, going to Albion.
The boy had a lot of potential, just a little weak.
He looked, with a bit more bulk, a Conference or lower league player to me.
Didn't realise Brooky had left BPA either.
If he had left us after the non-promotion I am pretty sure he would be managing at a higher level now.
