Just finished my shift and have been watching things progress over the move nonmove situ The reason the members werent given the full presentation is down to a feeling that several would have voted to move if they were getting 5 grand as a bonus/bribe. Something which has been alluded on this site earlier.

The £5,000 was a proposed loyalty payment suggested to the members in recognition of their membership or an alternative was a payment of £3000 plus £100 per year of membership. To me there was no logical reason for not presenting to the members and as mentioned in the EGM. How vcan any subsequent vote carry any credence seeing as the members previously voted at an AGM to return when an offer was on the table. The current executive committee overturned that vote unconstitutional as that may be it doesn't seem to matter.
32 people voting on the future of the club the size of Ossett Town beggars belief. Not one single member asking what the offer was suggests to me that once again the vote was cut and dried before any issues could be raised. Some of the members who were there only turn up at EGm/AGMs if they were an husband and wife team a £10,000 payment in recognition of membership and still be allowed to use the club in its present location suggests that their love of Ingfield is greater than I imagined.
