When you lot have finished arguing amongst yourselves don't forget that you are hosting The Cod Army next Saturday! You will need to get extra pies and beer for all the fishy folk. Expect to double your usual attendance!
See you then. (if you are still there!)

you'll enjoy the toilets then in the clubhouse because they smell like a fish market at the moment. And you had better all wear those big rubber boots that go over the knee, you'll be wading through the "water" to get to the urinals. Don't be planning on having a booze up in the club after the game either, both rooms in the clubhouse are booked to wedding parties. Otherwise, i'm sure you'll enjoy your visit to Ingfield ;D

A few of us would like to watch the Sheff Utd v Liverpool match before the main event and wonder if it will be screened in your clubhouse?
Failing that where is there a friendly pub to catch the game in Ossett.
Thanks for any help and looking forward to Saturday.

if its a "pay-per-view" game you wont be able to watch it in our club, we cancelled our subscription to the "pay-per-view" games to help pay for the reserve team this season.
to be honest i dont know which pubs in Ossett show the football on a Saturday dinner time, hopefully one of the other Ossett lads on this website will have the answer. There's plenty of pubs in the town centre and they are all within 5 minutes walk of the ground.

The food at the ground is available via a well stocked catering van, which, according to most visiting clubs serve the best burgers in the league. As for the pay-per -view it's news to me that it has been cancelled but I doubt access to the club at Noon would be accommodated. Arriving at the ground is your best option, park up and walk through the bus station to the town centre (5 mins tops) several pubs in the Town Centre will be showing the game but I'd try the club first for a competitively priced Yorkshire pint easy though 1 or 2 this side o'the pennines is equal to about a gallon in Blackpool!

just been looking at the transfers pages on the unibond site, here are the players we have signed on
Gary Butcher - Sthingyhorpe United Dean Calcutt - Bradford PA Matthew Daly - Frickley Athletic Carl fothergill - North Ferriby U Phil Lindley - Wakefield emley James Riordan - Ashton U Barry Rothera - Pontefract Collieries Paul Stansfield - Clitheroe Robert Tonks - Wakefield emley
players who have left:
Dean Jones to Frickley Athletic Marc thompson to guiseley
other former Ossett Town players who have been transferred:
Mick Norbury Wakefield Emley to Goole Mark Wilson Worksop Town to Grantham town
I would guess goole might be a good bet to finish near the bottom of the disciplinary table, they have also signed Greg Challender from Telford.
Finally, two famous names are playing in the unibond this season, James blunt has signed for Grantham while James Dean has transferred from Great Harwood to Clitheroe.
