It's vital we start well today and get off on the right foot against a well supported Fleetwood side who have made a few acquisitions close season. I know there seems to be a good spirit in the camp and without a doubt Kittys new recruits are certainly familiar with the Unibond. I expect Fleetwood to come with plenty of wind in their sail and by 1/4 to 5 be moaning about the pitch regardless of the recent rain! I'll take a 1-0 win with my anticipated starting line up looking something like this: Bennett, Briggs,Tonks, Daly,Riordan,Lindley,Stansfield,Calcutt,Hayward,Fothergill, Davidson(maybe a few shocks but Davidson's been scoring in the friendlies and if he's anything like he was prior to injury a very valuable addition to a strong looking squad)
As for the bench plenty to go at there but personally I felt Wally was too much for any side in the league last year when coming off the bench particularly in the last 1/3 rd of the game. One thing is certain 3 or 4 in the starting line-up would certainly be looking at bench activity thinking they could be replaced at any time! Any thoughts?

Todays trip to strongly fancied Burscough will be a real test not only insofar as we've lost our first 2 and Burscough are one of the more affluent, established sides in the league but down to the fact the squad looks to be looking thin based on injuries unavailability and suspensions.
New signing Snodin son of ex-Leeds player should possibly make his debut following yesterdays signing from Stalybridge Celtic.
Hopefully the lads can up the ante a touch and come away with something to show in preparation for a home game on Monday (3pm) v Ashton

We lost 0-4 at Burscough and David Briggs was sent off we're going to get relegated and the club will get summoned to FA HQ again to answer charges about our disciplinary record it's the end of the world as we know it or may be not ;D
