it should be an interesting day's sport on Saturday, Town v Albion in the FA cup, then the Wakey v Cas punch up to see who gets relegated from Super League.
Town to beat Albion 2-1, Wakey to beat Cas, about 24-10.

Ossett Town surely don't need reminding how important this Saturday's fixture is against our local rivals. In recent competitive derby games it has appeared the lads from Dimple Wells have had a touch more desire to take the spoils and I hope come Saturday a shaky start to the league programme and a few injuries can be put on the back-burner and the lads apply themselves fully to the task in hand.
It really is a must-win game in terms of progression, bragging rights and financial reward as a good performance and victory will go some way towards erasing last years painful exit at home to Leamington. The lads perform better with home vocal support so lets hope Saturday can be a bumper crowd witnessing Towns progression to the next round

watching Gilchrist and Kittrick on Look North tonight, Gilchrist, wearing shirt, tie etc, is asked what he thinks the score will be "2-1 to Albion", Kittrick, old Ossett Town t-shirt, trackie bottoms, old trainers, "Chairman wants a replay". Yours truly showers everyone nearby with mouth full of beer. ;D
