A very creditable 1-1 draw especially with the players unavailable.
A selection of comments from Hednesfords view:
"We rescued a point with a fantastic strike when in all honesty we probably deserved to lose. Not many emerged with credit - Andy Hayward's intelligent movement tore the back four to pieces and Masha in particular looked all at sea. We were also not allowed to keep possession in our own half and made many schoolboy errors". Osset looked a half decent side and if we are to maintain our position near the top we need to give the lads up front more to feed off. ["Some players were chasing shadows today and we never really got close to them so we allowed them to play through us.They used the left winger a lot as their out ball and Hayward used all his experience to give Masha a difficult match,I am sure he will have better games".
Its important that while the injury crisis continues we pick up points and be hard to beat. A difficult trip on Tuesday to Matlock means there's no respite but a home game next Saturday against an indifferent Leek side might be the start of a good run which these lads are more than capable of as the following tuesday we visit in-form Guiseley.
