Ossett Town Juniors – U13’s Ossett get one step closer to playing at Elland Road in the final of the Millennium Cup. Town U13's played away to a well organised Yorkshire Amateur Colts in the quarter final of the Millennium Cup and came away with a win. Ossett pushed and pushed through man of the match Jack Walker, only for the Yorkshire Amateur's keeper to punch and catch every ball that came his way, which kept the score at 0-0 at the full time whistle. Ossett started extra time by keeping Yorkshire Amateurs pinned in their own half, just like they had in the first sixty minutes of the game. Tom Hibbins worked hard from the back along with James Askew, Luke Furniss and Sieon Ripley and kept Ossett pushing forward for the match winner. This wasn't long in coming as a well taken cross from Ryan Barker found James Bannister, who slid in from the back post to push the ball home in the first half of extra time.
