Ossett Town Under 12’s
Charles Rice League
Ossett Town 4 v 2 South Hiendley
1 v 0 up after a scrambled goal from Kyle Kenningley, Town then gave away a penalty and had central defender Kyle Rose sent off for hand ball. Josh McKeeman then put Town 2 v 1 up, but South Hiendley struck back just before the break. Town had to re-organise themselves at half time and the sending off seemed to galvanise Town. Birthday boy Ben Parkinson gave his all and a further goal from midfield dynamo Josh McKeeman and a fourth from player of the match Lewis Williams made sure Town came away with the spoils.

Ossett Town Under 13’s – Invitations Cup
Ossett Town 6 v 1 Royston
Ossett Town took on Royston in the quarter final of the Invitation Cup and played them off the park. Town started strongly with an early goal from James Bannister. Ossett pushed forward through James Askew, Luke Furniss and man of the match Bradley Whitworth and it wasn't long before Town's second goal came from a well taken corner from James Cromack for Peter Crook to head it past the keeper. Town settled and moved the ball around through Marcus Brown and Tom Hibbins for Sean Ripley to latch onto a ball and make it 3-1. James Bannister added another to make it 4-1 at half time. Town came out strongly in the second half and added two further goals from Aidhan Brownlee. Ossett finished the game 6-1 winners and booked their place in the semi finals for the third year running.
