It's over a month since the EGM and it's all gone very quiet. Over three weeks ago it was said that the committee would invite a selected number managers and parents to a meeting where the intentions for the future would be outlined, as yet no date has been put forward.
After a best ever season by the 1sts, and astonishing season by the 16's and some other good performances, we need to ensure we are energised into next season to improve again and go forward together. We can't afford to go into next season with "rumblings and grumblings" and they won't go away if we ignore them.
Let's get the meeting booked, clear the air and get ready to improve further next season.

The opening statement in the vote of no confidence was the delay in calling an AGM. The charge was responded to by an explanation of a change in auditors meant a delay but accounts had been finalised therefore an AGM could and should have been called by now. Now the season is over and following a fabulous evening on Friday at Dewsbury Rams there is no reason not to call an AGM. In my opinion the meeting with the Junior section should happen first and should be attended by the senior officials of the club namely Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Club Secretary in order answers can be given and grey areas clarified. I believe there's an exec meeting this wednesday where it may be discussed but it appears that my original optimism when 10 members were nominated to the new executive would improve things and speed things up were misplaced. The club needs new blood and the only answer to that is open the membership to identify new people with their own skills to assist in taking the club forward on both Football and Social levels.

i have been led to believe the "do" at Dewsbury was such a success, one of our players has been put on the transfer list because of his bad behaviour.

Who's the player then? He's got to be on contract then. Which leads me to only one man capable. Can anyone from the club confirm this?

The "little Imp" got rat-faced in Dewbury in the afternoon, made his way up to the Rams Stadium and acted like a juan kerr all evening.

From a bystander, I would like to know is the club a football club that wants to progress, and gain more following, or a boozers club and a power base for the special few with football as an excuse?.
