Just for the record Paul hitch was the person who advised the members at our recent EGM that I was wrong when I suggested procedures at an EGM should mirror the AGM. The majority chose to listen to his wisdom the appointment of the new exec was done unconstitutionally but the answer from the exec is no-one complained on the night, once again factually incorrect. Paul Hitch was the one who proposed the vote of no confidence at the recent EGM resulting in a new one being formed. It amazed me at the time and still does how can anyone take anything seriously what he has to say.

The present committee haven't a clue how to run the club in a proper business like manner, and should resign and let others take over and take the club forward and progress up the league.

I think its time the record about the U12's was set straight!! 4 teams were entered in the Gala- teams A-D. Paul Hitch was in charge of team C and yes I understand that he told his C team to throw the game against the D team so that the D team went into the semi finals, as opposed to Thornes. This 'match fixing' was brought to the attention of the U12's manager (who was running the A team that day). As soon as he heard he went to the Gala official's along with a member of the junior exec committee and offered to withdraw his A team- who had not been in the same league as the C or D team and who had won their place in the semi final fairly!! It was however agreed between the manager of Thornes and the Gala officials that the Ossett D team and Thornes would play each other to see who went into the semis. This they did, and Thornes won. I am sure that I speak for everyone in the junior section when I say that the actions of a certain individual on Sunday did nothing but harm to Ossett Town juniors, and we must all work together to try to re establish to good name of Ossett Town juniors. Tim Asbury along with the junior managers puts countless hours a week into developing the club and needs the support of all junior parents and players. well that is a sad day for any club to get caught match fixing junior games Hope u are not in our tournament this year

Not really, i actually feel sorry for you. You obviously care about this club, your concern gives it away. You should come up for a pint one day, we have a GREAT social club.

You may find that you have to wait whilst someone else is being served. Strange isn't it how one person can't serve two people at once, you just can't get the staff. w*nker.

The Dirty Dozen who now have their slimy grip on the club seem hell bent on depriving the other members of the facts. The next AGM should have a full presentation of the offers from both Dewsbury and Tesco's.
Then and only then should they be asked to consider whether its the right move for the FOOTBALL club.
Matinin Voakes and his cronies are constantly putting out half truths and lies in an attempt to muddy the issue and get the members to say no to any move!
I have to ask myself why!
Why completely stonewall such an obvious progressive move which would take the club to the next level and further?
Why is it that everyone who learns the cold facts about this move asks what are Ossett Town AFC still doing at Ingfield!
Theres something going on at this club which most of us don't know about but can probably guess at!

We may get to know when the next AGM will be at the forthcoming EGM but don't hold your breath

you won't be allowed to discuss that at the EGM. It's only the subject at hand that can be discussed, unless one of the "clique" decides otherwise.
