If any of you are down Dewsbury today or tomorrow, buy "The Press", there's a photo on page 5 of a fight that broke out in the stands during the recent Oulton v Thornhill cup final played at Batley. One of the participants, whose face is partly obscured, looks strangely familiar. The little imp.

;Dthere's an even better photo in the Dewsbury Reporter, our hero and his mates have been circled on the photo by the police, who want to know who these people are, if you do know who they are you've to ring a Sergeant Money at Dewsbury Police Station.

Curtis Woodhouse, the Grimsby Town player, is giving up football to become a professional boxer, i understand he'll be having his first fight sometime this summer. I would advise Wally NOT to take up professional boxing (professional binge drinking is a possiblilty, but i think he is too young to become a Member of Parlaiment). On a serious note, i've not heard anything about what the club may or may not do with Wally; given the paralysis that has gripped the committee of the club in recent months about the Tesco offer, the argy-bargy over Thomo being kicked off the committee and now the Hitchy nonsense, i would not expect a decision on whether to sack Wally or not to be made in the near future, it may well be that Steve Kittrick may save the club an awkward decision and decide to cancel his registration and let him move to another club to make a fresh start. Maybe even Wally himself will decide to do the decent thing and ask to be released from his contract. Of course, the club might lose a transfer fee, but it has to be balanced against all the bad publicity which we will get in the near future when it comes out in the papers that one of our players was brawling at a rugby match.
